I’m definitely a beginner and bought a bunch of seconds. Definitely great quality and will order several more for use around the farm.

Lone Star seconds are better than other rope company's "first"!

We are a family of six ropers, and have used em all. We use Lone Star calf ropes, breakaway ropes, head ropes, and heel ropes. Lone Star ropes are so good, you cannot tell the difference between the first and the seconds. That says a lot about the quality of their products, and the effort Lone Star takes in being the very best. Thanks Lone Star! We'll never swing another brand.
