    I was using a very popular competitors rope for over a decade and vowed never to switch.
    Once I used a LoneStar Helix that I barrowed, I was thoroughly impressed with the lay. I have been using the Helix exclusively for over a year now and have found that the Helix outlasts the popular competitors rope 3 or 4 to 1. No exaggeration. It holds it shape well in all conditions and I have also found that each new rope is very consistent with the priors. I could never say that about the competitors ropes.
