Lay:

The Lone Star Thunderbird Head Rope is a uniquely engineered 4-strand rope, with a nylon/poly blend, combined with a multi-directional, double-twisted core, to allow the center core to counterbalance the rope as a whole. A collaboration with NFR legend Patrick Smith, The Thunderbird heel rope has a very even weight to it and is adaptive in all weather elements.

Thunderbird Heel rope

The Thunderbird is ready to go right when the twisties come off. Easy to swing and i get alot of tip through past the left leg. The crowns have alot of grab. My new favorite rope in all seasons.

GREAT LIGHT WEIGHT ROPE WITH TONS OF BODY

I truly feel that this is the best light weight rope on the market! I love all of the heel ropes that Lone Star makes and know I can win with any of them but I think this is my favorite. The light weight is easy to get up and to put the speed needed on you swing to get ahead of the steer and then still have the body to set it down and be lethal!

Best ropes ever

I’ve been sponsored by lonestar for over 10 years and there’s nowhere else I’d ever get my ropes from. Guy Alford goes above and beyond all the time to keep me happy and has become more of a friend than just a rope specialist. I highly recommend the lonestar brand for all of ur ropes & equipment needs….theres no better in the business.

Consistent quality

I'd never used the thunderbird before I purchased the mystery box. Once I tried it I ordered another box because it felt super consistent and holds up for a lot of runs.
