Ropes have really changed in 40+ years. We’ve always said they were an extension of our hand. Well, I can honestly say I really thought I knew what that felt like until I picked up a Thunderbird Medium. I’ve tried others, but this one swings great, feels great, is easier to maintain total control over, it’s just better for me in all ways. They are tied neutral and don’t change much if you take care of them. Overall a great rope.

I have roped for over 50 years using all different types and brands of ropes. I highly recommend Lone Star Ropes, especially the Thunderbird for heeling.
