The Lone Star Fever Head Rope

The Lone Star Fever Head Rope is a uniquely engineered 5-strand head rope with a nylon/poly blend, featuring a multi-directional, double-twisted core, to allow the center core to counterbalance the rope as a whole. This, combined with the small diameter with an unusual amount of weight, provides our ropers with a unique 5-strand head rope quality. The Lone Star Fever Head Rope is also a heat-resistant rope, providing our ropers with a consistent feel in all elements.

Good heavy rope that lasts longer than most. I'm not the biggest fan of heading with it unless its over 100* it because I feel like it hits a little dead in cooler weather but stays open well. Great day working rope though, stays open enough for catching colts and broodmares and stands up well when dragging calves.
I’ve been using the bomb since day one (still keep a few in my arsenal). I was pretty skeptical about changing to a 5 strand but I’ve found the Fever is my new go to! Love the snappiness and the balance of this rope.
I like both of these head ropes, like how there is no break in need just go rope
